This place has been around a long time and very popular for both carry outs and buffet. Since some older family members like the place for buffet and price, we still eat here now and then but with caution - place is old & run down & not so clean as one would expect a restaurant to be and employees don't always seem as if cleanliness is in mind. The area around buffet always seems unkept and well, dirty (the salad dressing bottles are so pitiful). Asked employee for some fresh green lettuce (it was awful and brown) and she didn't like that, taking the tongs and stirring the (brown) lettuce around telling me "it's still good". Well I stood my ground and had her bring some green fresh lettuce out - after all, I am a paying customer !! Loud drinking customer who hung (and stood ) around the whole time our last time there was obnoxious, flirting with the female employees to the point of annoying, etc. - got louder and more annoying as he drank more (if I wanted to eat at a bar I would go to a bar). Yeah, the employees are ho-hum but polite. Still not quite sure when buffet hours are - changed around a lot. Don't know if Hungry Howie's owner even reads these reviews ? ? ?

My friend had told me a couple of years ago to stay away from this place because they were not very good. He told me that about a couple other places and I went anyway to see for myself. This is like Cici's Pizza as they have a buffet. If you don't see the pizza you want they will make it for you. I saw everything I wanted. Lots of pizza and cheesy bread sticks. A nice salad bar that was well stocked and even had chicken salad!!!! I was impressed. You could get soup but I was not in the mood for it. I had spaghetti as well and some fruit salad for dessert. All this and my drink was included and it was only $5.99!! You can't beat that!! I will be back here!!!!

Hungry Howie's of Spring Hill Florida is great for the money. Our family of 7 love the place and two of them go in for Hungry Howie's buffet often. The rest of us get the buffet about once or twice a month. Hungry Howie's is about the only place we order our weekly pizza's from and their prices are fantastic. If something is low, we tell them and they immediately bring out more.

I really like this Hungry Howie's because of the buffet ... Plus if I need something quick for dinner you can get a pizza for like 6 bucks and it only takes like 15 minutes , the oven baked subs are great as well ... I eat here at least once a week

This review only pertains to this location. I've eaten at Hungry Howie's before but this place is scary. The building inside just looks scary and dirty and nasty. The people working there are not friendly, it's like your bothering them. In saying that I felt scared eating the food and won't ever ever come back here.

Very unhappy. Doing a job close so i order a couple pizzas for the guys. I walk in 20 after i order it. The guy comes out from the back short with me like i am bothering him. I must of interrupted his conversation. He said it will be a couple minutes. I watch him go back in there and make my pizzas. He hadn't even started them. There was three people in in the entire place eating of the buffet which had two old looking pizzas on it. I just don't understand, this place used to be a awesome little hole in the wall. It was great, a all you can eat hungry howies.

The nastiest attitude having people you can find. Imagine calling because more than once now after receiving your food, that you AGAIN see your credit card info written all over the carbon copy order sheet glued to the side of the box. I at one time was ordering from here about 10 to 15 times a month but stopped after the second time they did this. Tonight was the first time in months. Again the very 1st time back. Which tells me the last two times that Jeff said it would change was just bs. Tonight he gave a "this is America..." speech in response to me again after asking why "MY CREDIT CARD" info was written again. Then hung up after screaming a bunch of non understandable something or another. I didn't even bother calling back when I went to eat my food and everything in the bags smelled heavily of mildew. Enough to burn eyes. This local favorite has gone to shit. A rotten building with rotten attitude having management. I ordered a whole new meal elsewhere.

The employees here match the food-horrible! First time ordered from their flyer for a special, but when I went to pick it up the price had gone up $2. The girl taking the order could not be bothered to let me know. Second time ordered take out but ended up eating in, wow, the buffet looked disgusting and the young lady working was wearing shorts that did not leave you guessing "what her mama gave her". The place was such a dump, decrepit and so so dirty. Bathrooms-EEWWW- rest stops are far better than this place. Third time hubby was going to pick up order on the way home and did not have the coupon from the flyer. Jerk who took my call said they had to have the coupon but dumba** did not realize that the coupon was on a flyer right there on the counter, but wasn't smart enough to tell me this . Hung up and ordered from Tito's. Glad I did. Only order from them now, their pizza is outstanding, 10 times better than this crap, nasty place-. Saddest part is that no one seems to give a rip. Go to Tito's, just to the northwest of this place, basically same shopping center, right behind Walgreens.

Oh god no. Just no. A salad bar full of brown lettuce that looked too gross to eat, spaghetti that was half dry and crusty (uncovered) and half swelled up and inedible, and a few cold crusty pizzas. Now I know why they make you pay when you walk in, because if we'd know what we were in for, we would have walked right back out. No idea why they have so many people working... nobody cleared any old dirty tables while we were there, brought any drinks or did anything at all. This place was gross.
